Boston Beer Week is Here! Raise Your Beers to Boston!
Boston Beer Week is a weeklong celebration of beer (from Boston and beyond) within the Greater Boston Area. The annual event highlights the people, places and events that make Boston's beer scene what it is today and what it will be tomorrow.
This year's Boston Beer Week will be held March 8-17, 2013.
How to Support Boston Beer Week
There are many ways you can help support Boston Beer Week. Here are some:
- Raise some beers with new and old friends.
- Visit a local brewer.
- Support local places who focus on selling/serving good beer.
- Drink local beer.
- Attend one of the many Boston Beer Week events.
- Spread the word! Tell your friends!
Host an Event
Are you a brewery, bar, restaurant, store or other organization dedicated to promoting beer? Join the celebration by hosting, posting and promoting a Boston Beer Week event!
It's easy and free. Simply follow these steps:
- Add the event to BeerAdvocate's listings; it's free.
- Once approved, the event will appear on the websites for both BeerAdvocate and Boston Beer Week. We'll do our best to spread the word (for free) and we also recommend that you use every social media tool in your arsenal to spread the word too!
Event Ideas
There are many ways you can support Boston Beer Week with an event. Here are just few:
- Store tasting. Theme it. Invite a brewer or local rep to help conduct it.
- Brewer meet & greet + tasting at a bar.
- Beer dinner; themed or feature a brewery.
- Special keg tapping; new release, rare offering, cask.
- Homebrew club recruitment meeting at a local bar or brewpub.
